This VR project was created jointly between NC State's College of Engineering and the College of Design.
I picked up this project after the 3D model of the Bioreactor had been built by fellow NC State Art & Design students Jason Haskins and Ariana Ehuan. Under the guidance of Emil Polyak and Xinyu Zhang, I built the interactive functions of the VR project. The steps were built to match closely with the steps used in the physical lab, to allow students a chance to practice the protocols without working with the machine directly.
I build two stages for student use. One stage allows the user to view labels of each component of the machine. The other follows the process of sterilizing and testing the machine.
The interactions of this project were built in Unity with the Playmaker plugin.
